Actually, I thought this too...but I talked to some guy online who asked one of the Bros themselves...and apparently it is Arkansas, but they say "Ar-Kansas" as some sort of inside joke.

I always thought it was "Aw, Kansas." But I dunno. So says this guy.

Saves The Day does a rock/punk-esque song called "Hot Times In Deleware" thats about the only one I can think of about Delware...kind boring state if you ask me...
